Joe Rogan is as loyal and passionate as they come! Before the UFC turned into a $12.1 billion-dollar MMA promotion, the now-infamous UFC commentator was hardly any different from what we see him today. The now 55-year-old’s stint with the promotion kicked off from the UFC 12 event, where he featured as a backstage interviewer. And since that day, there’s been no going back for Rogan.

According to UFC President Dana White, Rogan allegedly worked for free during his early UFC days. And just like his beloved promotion, the UFC commentator-cum-JRE host has seen a meteoric rise to stardom. What’s more – it’s even argued that he played a pivotal role in propelling the sport and the promotion to the stellar heights where it currently stands. But why is Rogan so close to the UFC? What’s the intrinsic connection that always keeps him connected to the multi-billion dollar promotion?
