Conor McGregor hasn’t been having the best of days, ever since he took a break from the UFC. Some people say he hasn’t been handling his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov well, while others say that with time away from the Octagon and his focus being on becoming a businessman, McGregor has lost his way.

McGregor, who was once UFC’s pride and joy, is facing major backlash these days, especially after the NBA final fiasco and missing the USADA pool. McGregor was slated to make his return to the UFC this year to face his former TUF rival, Michael Chandler. However, the former UFC Lightweight champion didn’t enter the USADA pool and his chances of competing this year are slim to none.

McGregor’s Latest ‘religious’ Tweet is a hard pill to swallow for the fans

Fans are used to seeing Conor McGregor a certain way – with his flair and daring attitude. However, the fighter recently re-tweeted a post where he was seen dishing out a flying knee in one of his matches. The former UFC champ re-tweeted the post with a ‘religious’ twist to it.

However, the reactions that he received on the post were most definitely not what the former UFC champ was expecting.

Some fans poked fun at his ‘biblical’ reference.

While others reminded him that he needed to get back to the ring for his words to have any kind of impact.

Others made it a point to remind McGregor of his previous fights, making insinuations of different kinds.

The fans didn’t take McGregor’s tweet well, especially since the fighter has been failing to return to the ring, after repeated warnings from the USADA.

Recently, McGregor attended the NBA finals where he punched the Miami Heat’s mascot twice, hospitalizing him. He faced a lot of backlash for that as well.

People have been wondering when and if at all, they would see McGregor back in action. Recently, the former UFC champion revealed that he is already preparing to come back to the UFC and is training in full swing.
