The discussion among the MMA community surrounding the civil lawsuit loss of Conor McGregor doesn’t seem to end. The lawsuit has proven to be a critical factor for his losses in the business realm, as the Irishman’s alcohol brands suffered a major hit because of it. However, McGregor seems to be in a rather calm state of mind amidst this chaos, as he revealed in a message to his fans and followers on social media.
From having to pay around $260,000 in damages to the lawsuit’s plaintiff, Nikita Hand, to being ordered to cover her legal costs, things have only gotten worse for ‘The Notorious’. But Conor McGregor has claimed that he’ll be appealing against the court’s verdict. And while preaching his love and trust in God, the former double champion recently thanked his fans for all the support he got during this controversy.
“I am in amazing spirits! God has chosen me and I accept! Thank you to all those who have looked at this impartially and are supporting me in my fight for justice,” wrote Conor McGregor on X. “The truth shall prevail! As God as my witness.”

Amidst a growing rumor on social media about Conor McGregor probably fighting someone else instead of Michael Chandler, Dana White provided an important update about some big plans. He even claimed that this would be one of those announcements that fans and reporters “will never f—–g see coming.” For context, the potential opponent for McGregor had previously been touted to be featherweight champion Ilia Topuria.
Dana White recently confirmed that the UFC will be going to Spain, and rumor has it that Conor McGregor will headline the event alongside Ilia Topuria. But guess what? The Irishman straight-up rejected these speculations and instead provided an update that literally nobody saw coming. According to McGregor, he’s having talks with one of the richest business families in India, the Ambanis for a potential boxing return against social media sensation and WWE superstar, Logan Paul.

“The rumors of a bout with topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India,” said Conor McGregor on X. “I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
It’ll be important to see how true Conor McGregor’s claim turns out, given that he’s made several such claims in the past, which didn’t necessarily pan out the way he envisioned. For now, we’ll just have to take his word for it, and keep an eye out for further updates. Regardless, what do you think of the Irishman’s claims of fighting Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match in India? Do you think it’s a smart move on his part?
