TikTok and Instagram have changed the content industry. A lot of young people are making content these days and social media is making a huge impact on society.  It’s ironic that a lot of such dialogues happen on social media. A recent Twitter battle ensued over a TikTok video and it involved a former MMA champion. Podcaster Elijah Schaffer shared a video on Twitter where two young women are making a video in a grocery store. He captioned his tweet saying, “I wish our founding fathers could see the progress we’ve made”

The video got a response from a user who asked Elijah what was wrong with the video. Her comment drew a response from Jake shields who clearly wasn’t too impressed with what was happening in the video. He made a comment that was a very sharp answer to the question asked.

MMA champion triggered by TikTok video

In a heated exchange, Jake Shields clapped back at the user, who tried to defend the TikTok video. The user had asked a question after Elijah Schaffer’s tweet.

The tweet read, “She was making a tik tok video recreating this dance… what’s wrong with that?” Jake Shields replied, Because she’s in a fucking grocery store” 

Jake shields is very active on Twitter and has more than 300k followers on Twitter.

Jake shields has had a long MMA career. He was featured in promotions like Shooto, Elite XC, Rumble on the Rock, and others.

The content industry making an impact

The content market is estimated to be valued at USD 13.4 billion in 2022 and is estimated to reach over 47 billion in 2032. With the introduction of reels that are available on platforms like Instagram, Facebook and YouTube the short content market has found a huge platform. The content industry gets its share of flak too. Social media has helped the world connect better but at the same time is accused of painting a world different from the real world.
