Andrew Tate‘s feud with Greta Thunberg, followed by his arrest, created a lot of buzz on social media, as well as the news circuit. Recently the Swedish activist, along with an estimated 600 protestors, took part in a protest in Germany to stop the demolition of a village for coal mine expansion. This action is taken under the agreement between the government and Germany’s Energy Utility RWE. The Government calls the coal mine expansion to be crucial for the nation’s energy security. Wherein the protestors vouch against it and suggest focusing on renewable energy instead. Additionally, police took control and detained the protestors, along with Thunberg. And this news caught the attention of the outspoken UFC veteran Jake Shields, who then shared his snarky take on the incident.

Nevertheless, Thunberg was released shortly after the detention. During her speech at the rally, she went on to make some unflinching statements against Germany, referring to it as the world’s largest polluter. Having said that, after her release, the 20-year-old activist sent out a tweet addressing the incident and claims that what she was doing is not a crime.
Thunberg released a strong statement post-detention
After being freed from custody, Greta Thunberg made it public knowledge of what concurred during the protest. However, she maintains that even after being released shortly after, protecting the climate cannot be considered as a crime.
