His comments angered not just the fans but also the wrestlers. One such person was Ric Flair. As a result, he hit right back at Conor McGregor. Flair had tweeted, “Coming from a guy who built a career copying my persona, I expected the type of class we get from Ronda or Anderson.”

The wrestler had also said, “After Diaz finishes you again, I dare you to try guys like Dolph, Brock, or Fit.”

Apart from Ric Flair, Kurt Angle too called out McGregor for his comments. He wrote, “very funny little guy. Why don’t you get your head out of Dana White’s a**”.

MVP too wasn’t happy with McGregor’s comments. Like Flair, he too brought UFC fighter Diaz into the picture. After all, ‘The Notorious’ was coming off a recent loss against him.

Needless to say, people were not happy with Conor McGregor bashing the wrestling promotion. Post this, the Irish fighter won the second fight against Diaz via a unanimous decision.
