Quinton Jackson is not called ‘Rampage’ just for fun. Why? While the former UFC light heavyweight champion is known for his hilarious (albeit crass takes), he was primarily known for his fighting style defined by his in-ring moniker. Remember when the Memphis native clashed with Ricardo Arona at Pride FC: Critical Countdown 2004 in Saitama? Remember that powerbomb ‘Rampage’ Jackson hit Arona with when the latter tried to triangle-choke him? That was his raw power on display. But his name isn’t just confined to his fighting style, he’s got a fiery personality too.
The door-smashing in season 7 of The Ultimate Fighter, the various shenanigans with Ariel Helwani, his ugly beefs with Jon Jones and Rashad Evans—’Rampage’ Jackson isn’t one to back down from a challenge, be it an opponent or a journalist. While there has been a marked shift in his behavior, lately, with him displaying composure with the occasional banter with his co-host on the JAXXON podcast, he’s still one bad moment away from getting in someone’s face if they annoy him.
Recently, the UFC and PRIDE FC star was in a pub streaming on Kick while his cameraman captured everything. But something ticked him off. As per a video by Championship Rounds on X: “Rampage Jackson went OFF on this guy for pushing his cameraman while he was streaming.”

While ‘Rampage’ was getting drinks from the bartender, a man seemingly pushed his cameraman. Jackson immediately confronted the man, holding his shoulder firmly, saying, “Hey, come here, did you just push him? He got the fu—ing camera here you pu—. Get the fu— outta here. I watch everything you f***ing b***h, hey don’t you ever touch my cameraman.”
Suddenly, a woman came to defend that man and said, “Don’t you f***ing do that again,” to which Jackson replied, “Guess what, he keeps pushing me out for no reason.” The woman adamantly said, “He didn’t touch it. Don’t f***ing touch me.” But Jackson didn’t need to escalate the situation, as he said, “It’s on f***ing camera.”

It’s a moment that most fight fans can understand. Having someone shove your friend or associate would enrage anyone. The man who pushed Jackson’s camera man is lucky this isn’t the ‘Rampage of old.’ This moment is a stark reminder for folks not to mess with fighters, even if they’re retired. And this, more so, applies to ‘Rampage’ Jackson who has admittedly has a history with anger issues, and even tried to get help for the same. “I used to go to Anger Management classes, but the made me angry,”, Jackson said to San Antonio’s Sport Star in 2024.
But from what we can see from his demeanor, off late, the Memphis, Tennessee native has visibly calmed down from his “crazy” days. Just watch any compilations of the former UFC light heavyweight champion, and you’ll know what we’re talking about. And this was no more clearer than when Jackson had the ‘Trailblazer’ Kevin Holland on his podcast.
What’s your perspective on:
Is 'Rampage' Jackson truly a changed man, or is his fiery side just simmering beneath?

Does Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson have a new arc?
That infamous episode from the JAXXON podcast, the one with Kevin Holland, will be remembered for all the wrong reasons—not for Jackson, but for Holland. It was an incredibly awkward exchange between Jackson, his co-host, and Holland, as the UFC legend had to deal with Holland’s temper tantrum. What did Quinton Jackson do wrong? He dared to make a crass joke about Holland when the Texas native faced off against Michael ‘Venom’ Page before UFC 299.
Holland was disrespectful from start to finish, even telling the legend to “shut the f**k up” for not knowing having as deep a knowledge as Holland when it came to firearms. Imagine that, you give someone a platform to express themselves, and they instead, disrespect you. The moment was uncomfortable for all of us watching, we’re sure.
But what was refreshing? ‘Rampage’ didn’t lash out at the UFC welterweight/middleweight fighter. He calmly reminded Holland not to overstep his boundaries, and even held a mirror up to ‘Trailblazer’, telling him that he couldn’t take as much as he dishes out. We must keep in mind Holland’s various antics and beef with his opponents, where he doesn’t bat an eye while trying to get under their skin. Clear double standards? Things sure did look like it.

As for Jackson, he had this to say about the whole incident, “At the end of the podcast, I wasn’t mad at the kid. But right here at the time, when I got quiet; I had to think. I really had to think. This is one thing a lot of people didn’t see on the podcast, he came in with bad energy. I tried to come in for the bro hug and he pushed me away.”
So this begs the question—Does Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson have a new arc? What do you think? Let us know what you think in the comments down below.
