UFC’s first-ever heavyweight champion Mark Coleman supposedly found himself in trouble recently. He shared a post on Instagram claiming that he was arrested by the police, to which many fans have shared their reactions online. This happened just a day after he challenged Conor McGregor to a boxing match.
Mark Coleman rose to name after defeating Dan Severn at UFC 12 to claim the heavyweight title and unify it with the super fight title. He was subsequently ushered into the Hall of Fame under the ‘Pioneer’ wing in 2008. However, he developed a drinking problem later in his life but got sober in 2021 after participating in rehab.

Just a day after he called out UFC megastar, Conor McGregor, Coleman found himself in trouble with the law. He elaborated on that incident in his recent Instagram post while sporting his shorts. He said, “Out walking here to get some sun, cops pulled me over. They say, ‘What are you doing? You’re alright?’ I say, ‘Yeah!'”
When the police asked him what he was doing, he said that he was preparing for a fight with some people who were bothering him at the bar. Coleman said, “I said [that] I am getting ready for a bar fight. [Some] guys have been f***ing with me at the bar.”
In the Instagram post, Mark Coleman mentioned that he had been on a carnivorous diet, suggested by controversial social media personality, ‘Liver King’. Coleman claims that his legs are now better than ever thanks to the social media star. Moreover, his post garnered a lot of reactions from the fans.
