Combat sports are engrained in the UFC legend Georges St-Pierre. The former welterweight and middleweight champion remains a fan favorite due to his hard work and unscalable heights achieved by him in the Octagon. Even after retiring from the MMA world, the Canadian attempts to give back to the combat sports that made him a world icon. Markedly, ‘Rush’ who still inspires fighters and maintains a shredded physique, nowadays could be spotted assuming broadcast duties with Karate Combat. Moreover, the actor recently appeared with a fellow great of sports, Bas Rutten as the duo explained the rules associated with Karate Combat. However, the Quebec-born found himself beaten up several times during the demonstrations.

In the video posted by Karate Combat, the two legends explain the basic rules along with the practical demonstrations. In the short 3-minute video, ‘El Guapo’ started with the don’ts of the sports. Thus he listed, no kick in the ba*ls, no poking an eye and no hitting the opponent in the back, especially when he is down. Further, the 5th-degree Karate black belt holder demonstrated how to use the wall effectively.
Georges St-Pierre suffers the wall beat down
Rutten, 57, notified that if the opponent falls against the wall, it was not considered a down. Cautioning the viewers, the color commentator pointed out that while he could do anything he wanted but he also had to watch out, as his opponent also had the window do the same.
Further, the former UFC heavyweight champion specified, “What we were thinking about the best thing would always be to shoot, simply sweep the leg, and then go for the five-second ground and pound.”
“I think that would be the best thing to do in that particular moment,” the Dutch-American added later on.
Simultaneously, Rutten taught the same to the viewers as GSP faced the brunt of the sweep.

Following this, the welterweight legend agreed with his partner. Thus, he said, “100%. 100%. You have to protect yourself all the time because you’re never safe in here. The pit will determine who’s the best fighter.”
GSP, 41, then took to Instagram as he shared the clip of the video on his story. Further, he tagged Rutten and hilariously wrote, “@basruttenmma is beating me again”
