The 54-year-old promoter has no trust in the current generation to stand up and fight for themselves and their country. He believes that it is a scary thing to see that only a few people would be willing to indulge in such an undertaking, while the rest of the people will just take the backseat.
“There’s a small, handful of people. Most of them probably down around the bible belt and down south that will actually f***ing stand up and fight for this country right now. It’s scary,” said Dana White. Moreover, he even claimed that if the Dagestani fighters, led by Khabib Nurmagomedov, take over the US, today’s generation of American masses won’t be doing anything about it.
“Khabib’s crew in Dagestan could probably come in and take over this f**ing country right now because this generation is such a bunch of f*ing p**ies. Different mentality,” the UFC CEO further stated.
Dana White believes that people are softer than ever. And this is a phenomenon that keeps happening every decade. “We’re getting soft. We’re getting weak. Every 10 years we get softer and weaker,” the 54-year-old added. However, the fans did not like it as Nate Diaz also responded to White’s statement.
Nate Diaz and the fans have their own say on this topic
The Stockton native gave a mixed reaction to Dana White’s claims about the current generation. While he did agree with the UFC’s head honcho about people getting softer, he did rate Khabib Nurmagomedov’s chances of taking over the American masses. He said, “Agreed but kabob and his friends ain’t gonna do sh*t.” Similarly, fans also gave their take on the topic.
Some fans mentioned that such statements about going to war are easy for someone like Dana White to make since he’s a rich businessman. They are certain that he will never let his children go to war for the country. They even hesitated to listen to someone who had a scuffle with his wife, indicating White’s altercation with his wife last year.
“Comfortable saying that from his ivory tower. Will his kids storm the beaches?”
“Says the guy who slapped his wife.”

However, one Instagram user mentioned that the older generation thinking less of the newer generation is a very old phenomenon. Some fans also clarified to the UFC CEO that the current generation is much wiser than the older ones.
“Old generations always think that they are better than the new one. Its a tale as old as the world.”
“OUR generation are no longer fools who will fight someone else’s wars for billionaire agendas to be awarded death or Pennies for our sacrifices.”
Even though Dana White raised concerns about fighting for the country, people are certain that he would opt to do that. Also, the fans also pointed out that AI robots are used nowadays to avoid the loss of human life. Meanwhile, when it comes to Dagestani fighters taking over the US, the fans don’t think that will ever happen.
“He talks like he would… bro stop it he wouldn’t.”

We will now have to wait and see what more things the UFC CEO talks about in the future.
