FUNNY: Daniel Cormier Surprises NFL Star By Pulling Up In Formals

Former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier since his retirement has ventured into a couple of things. He is a color commentator at most of the UFC events and also has his own YouTube channel. He also hosts a show on ESPA MMA with Ryan Clark.

The two usually call fighters to interview them or sometimes just have a conversation amongst them. Cormier is known to wear loose and casual clothes, whereas his partner is mostly dressed up. Cormier even calls him Pastor Clark because of the shirts he wears. However, recently the former UFC fighter surprised his co-host. He came in wearing a tight collared shirt with a blazer, which took Clark by surprise.

Cormier posted his reaction video on Twitter. The caption read, “You know I’m on the east coast so I had to pull up on my man @Realrclark25. So y’all know I call him pastor Clark so I had to show him he ain’t the only one can wear those nice shirts lol. New episode of DC & RC will be coming up live from Bristol. Gonna be fun show!”

In the last episode of the show, Daniel Cormier previewed the upcoming fight between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. He recently also had a spat with Justin Gaethje over something he said after Islam Makhachev’s fight.

Daniel Cormier vs. Justin Gaethje

The former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier was recently involved in a war of words with Justin Gaethje. Cormier was ring-side commentating at UFC 267. His long training partner and friend, Islam Makhachev, was also on the card and won his fight convincingly. During the post-fight interview, Cormier asked a question that ticked Justin Gaethje.

Makhachev was asked why he should get a title shot instead of the winner of Gaethje vs. Chandler, and that was it for the ‘Highlight.’

The former interim UFC lightweight champion took to Twitter and wrote, “Su*k it harder,” taking a dig at Cormier. Both men got into it afterward, as Cormier tried to clear the air by saying his question was not meant to put Gaethje down. He even said that ‘Highlight’ is his favorite fighter.

Justin Gaethje is going to take on Michael Chandler at UFC 268. Many believe the winner of this fight should challenge the UFC lightweight champion next.
