Only last month, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul shocked the world by defeating current Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship star Mike Perry in a sixth-round knockout. After the fight, Paul called out two-division UFC champion Alex Pereira for a boxing match, following his previously announced fight against former heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson in November. Pereira quickly responded, posting a story with the caption, “Let’s go!! Chama. Let’s go, my brother.”

Since then, the combat sports world has been eagerly awaiting a response from UFC CEO Dana White regarding the potential fight between Jake Paul and Alex Pereira. However, until recently, White had remained silent on the subject. In a recent interview with TNT Sports, when host Adam Catterall, Catterall brought up the potential matchup between Paul and Pereira, White responded dismissively, stating, “ Listen, let me tell you something about the Jake Paul thing. The media just eats all his bullsh*t and actually prints it.”

White further elaborated, “Once, not only did I not tell Perry if he wanted to get in the UFC, but I haven’t even talked to Perry in a long time. I didn’t even know Jake Paul was fighting; I was on vacation in Italy. I had no idea. There are all these stories that were written, it’s ridiculous.”

Dana White certainly made it clear that he no longer pays attention to Jake Paul since his defeat by Tommy Fury in 2023, a split-decision victory for Fury. White claimed Paul only wins against retired or near-retired boxers. On the day of the Jake Paul-Mike Perry face-off before their fight, Jake Paul leveled multiple accusations against the UFC and Dana White, claiming that White had offered Mike Perry a fight contract if he knocked out Paul.

Jake Paul accuses Dana White

Jake Paul, known for his trash-talking persona, continued his antics in the lead-up to his boxing match against Mike Perry. During the face-off, Paul nearly ignited a brawl, heating the fight atmosphere. He leveled serious accusations against Dana White and other MMA fighters, claiming they were trying to sabotage his career.

In the onstage interview with Ariel Helwani, Paul stated, “He flew like six feet. But look, Dana White said that he’s going to give ( Mike Perry) a UFC contract if he could knock me out. Well, guess what, Dana? You can rip up the contract because I’m going to (expletive) up Mike Perry. Anyone you send at me, any one of your MMA fighters is getting up.” Jake Paul escalated his trash talk by claiming assassination attempts had been made on his life to eliminate him from the sport. Paul boldly declared that he runs combat sports and that these alleged assassination attempts would only make him bigger.

Now, the question for the fans is: What are your thoughts on Dana White’s statement about Jake Paul calling out Alex Pereira? Do you believe Dana White offered Mike Perry a UFC contract, or is this just Jake Paul spreading lies that the media is reporting? Share your opinion below.
