Shortly after Khabib Nurmagomedov released the statement regarding the rude behavior of the flight attendant that got him removed from the flight, Frontier Airlines released a statement claiming that the viral videos didn’t tell the complete story. “Videos circulating on social media platforms do not capture this interaction, and instead show a subsequent interaction after a gate agent entered the plane and reiterated the option to be reseated,” the airline stated. And now that the complete story was out in the open, the fanbase still stands in defense of Nurmagomedov. 

In the extended video, the flight attendant can be heard saying that it was the staff’s discretion for anyone to sit in the exit row. Well, they do need to make sure the passenger is able and willing to help during a crisis. And ‘The Eagle’ confirmed, “I am willing to help you.” But the attendant was persistent in removing the former champion from his seat. She argued, “I understand that. But now, you’re getting back and forth, We don’t feel comfortable with you sitting here.” 

Even the passengers backed Nurmagomedov up when he reciprocated the feeling. One of the passengers said, “She was talking really fast and he speaks a different language.” While another lady said, “It’s the way she asked him, and it was more of a whole sentence. It didn’t sound like a question. We heard it.” However, the flight attendant was adamant. She kept claiming that with Nurmagomedov in the exit row seat, she and her colleague were uncomfortable. 

She pressed on to let Nurmagomedov have another seat with the same legroom. But the Dagestani simply said, “You two guys leave me alone, everybody is gonna be okay.” Soon, the airline staff revealed that it wasn’t the language barrier that made her uncomfortable. She said, “It’s not about the language, sir. It’s the fact that now you’re giving me a hard time. So, I don’t feel comfortable with you sitting in the exit row. “ 

Well, the entire scenario seemed to fit in Nurmagomedov’s statement more than that of the Airlines’. Soon, the complete video went viral on Instagram. And the netizens didn’t change sides and continued defending the former champ. Let’s see what the fans had to say.

One of the fans reflected back on the statement that Frontier Airlines released and wrote, “Frontier doubled down saying video didn’t catch the whole interaction. Now watch them backtrack 😂.” Another fan weighed in on how every single piece of evidence spoke against the airlines. The comment read, “Hey didn’t they come out with a statement in which they said he said he wouldn’t help them? Yet of all these videos he’s saying he will help in every single one of them.”

Some of the fans noticed the passengers’ voices supporting Nurmagomedov. One fan wrote, “you have passengers backing him up lmao they’re done DONE 😂.” Another fan pointed out, “Bruhh this attendant is on a power trip. Even the people around Khabib were defending him this is wild.” 

Most of the fans claimed that the issue should have been settled when Nurmagomedov agreed to help. But it was the flight attendant’s ego, that sent everything tumbling down. One fan commented, ““I am willing to help you” “Okay sir i hope you enjoy the flight” thats how it shouldve ended but she doubled down due to ego.” Another fan claimed, “So she made it a “HER’ problem wow became a ego problem real quick.”

Needless to say, the fans were pretty impressed by the Dagestani’s calmness. Despite the power he possessed, he didn’t raise his voice, nor was he disrespectful. A fan weighed in on this and wrote, “How is Khabib so calm? I would be furious if somebody treated me like that. A lot to learn from the legend.”
