Competing as a mixed martial artist with the best in the world comes with its share of sacrifices. Apart from toiling away in the gym for hours and hours, the fighters also have to give up food, which they would otherwise have a mouthful of. However, now and then they give themselves the luxury of a cheat meal. Let’s look at what some of UFC’s biggest names such as Colby Covington have for a cheat meal.
In the latest video uploaded by MMA journalist James Lynch, several UFC fighters opened up on what exactly makes up a cheat meal for them.

Colby Covington picks an All-American cheat meal
Covington has been very vocal about his identity as a former All-American wrestler. The former interim welterweight champion chose a meal that cements his identity as an All-American. ‘Chaos’ would prefer a good steak for a cheat meal. “I just like a good steak with some mashed potatoes. An all-American meal, something that all the people in America can relate to,” Covington said.

While others revealed their cheat meal, former UFC flyweight challenger, Brandon Moreno, showed the viewers that he was about to pick up a burger from a fast-food joint. During the lead up to his fight with Deiveson Figueiredo, Moreno and his manager planned on eating so much after winning the fight that the belt wouldn’t even fit him.
