The former heavyweight champion recently appeared on the ‘Pound 4 Pound’ podcast with Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo. During the show, Francis Ngannou was asked about his probable fight with ‘Bones’, and he gave an honest answer. So, what does ‘The Predator’ have in store for his rival?

Jon Jones won the vacant heavyweight title at UFC 285 when he defeated Ciryl Gane via submission. But he never faced the mighty power of Francis Ngannou in his career. Before his exit from the UFC, ‘The Predator’ dominated the heavyweight turf and knocked out people with just one punch. The fans eagerly waited to witness the two best heavyweights sharing the octagon.
37-year-old Francis Ngannou was recently asked about a potential fight with Jones. He took the opportunity to clear the air and said, ” First of all, like for the Jon Jones fight, it’s always possible on my side. On our side. Now Jon Jones has to deal with his house or whatever it is with the UFC and their contract, whatever they can agree on to make this fight happen.”
“But on my side, I’m always down for that fight. Call me anytime when that fight is ready to be selling. You know, I think it’s going to be is the fight. It’s the fight to be made.”
While Francis Ngannou was willing to face Jon Jones, he made sure he laid out his terms and conditions. He previously sat for an interview with Shannon Sharpe and discussed a variety of things. During the conversation, he clearly stated the rules for him to fight ‘ Bones’. What could they be?

When Ngannou shared his conditions for facing Jon Jones
Earlier, Francis Ngannou surprised the world when he parted ways with the UFC. Reportedly, UFC head honcho Dana White and ‘The Predator’ could not negotiate their disputes, resulting in him walking away. Ngannou is currently associated with the PFL for a hefty sum. However, he once laid out his terms in a previous interview on ‘Club Shay Shay’ about fighting Jon Jones.
He said, “Well, I’ve been claiming this fight, I’m in the PFL, they can. We can do the same thing as they did with Floyd, but at this moment, the PFL needs to involved.” The 37-year-old further added, “I’m willing to do that fight, but not to go back to the UFC.”
