Dana White went on an absolute rant recently against a rival promotion, the PFL. There were reports that PFL’s ‘Battle of the Giants’ did great numbers since it was Francis Ngannou who headlined the card and registered a very dominant win over Renan Ferreira. However, the UFC CEO has trashed the PFL, claiming that his second venture, Power Slap, edged past Donn Davis’s promotion by a huge margin when it comes to the numbers.
“Nobody wants to fight in the f—ing PFL, except for Francis,” Dana White stated during the recent DWCS presser while claiming that the UFC is the platform that everybody wants to compete in ultimately. It certainly did not sit well with the Cameroonian-French star, who would share a tweet, which could be characterized as a subtle dig at the UFC CEO for his unsavory words towards the PFL and ‘The Predator’.
“Freedom isn’t free, but remember that the benefits always outweigh the price. Don’t let the bully talk you out of it,” Francis Ngannou posted with a picture of himself on X. Dana White, in his bid to stamp PFL as a minor league, claimed that he had already made up his mind about cutting Francis Ngannou from his promotion after he lost two fights in a row back in 2018 while also adding that ‘The Predator is “all about the money.”

Meanwhile, Ngannou called Dana White out for yet another issue that relates to a statement the UFC CEO made three years ago. It involved a potential fight between Ngannou and Jon Jones, and guess what? It appears that the 55-year-old had changed his tune on that matchup.

Francis Ngannou also pointed out Dana White’s ‘manipulation’
After Francis Ngannou’s win over Stipe Miocic in their rematch in 2021, Dana White suggested, during a presser, that Jon Jones should consider moving down to the middleweight division to avoid ‘The Predator’. Fast forward to now, The UFC CEO has changed his opinion and claims that it was Ngannou who was trying to duck Jon Jones, even though the Cameroonian-French declared that it was he who initiated the conversation about fighting the now-heavyweight king.

When YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, who also seems to have a bit of beef with Dana White even though the 55-year-old claimed that there was no animosity with the 27-year-old, shared the clip of Dana White’s statements from the presser 3 years ago, Francis Ngannou joined in and clapped back at the UFC boss for his apparent manipulation tactics. “Divert attention to the real matter by manipulating the narrative. Lol,” Ngannou wrote in a separate tweet.

It seems like things are never going to be okay between the Cameroonian-French star and the boss of the biggest MMA organization anytime soon. Maybe Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou will never happen given how heated things are right now. Nevertheless, do you think the bitterness between Dana White and ‘The Predator’ will ever cease to exist?
