Israel Adesanya recently took to Instagram to share a funny little detail about himself. In a series of Instagram stories, ‘The Last Stylebender’ shared clips of himself getting his nails done. The UFC star also looked like he was giving an interview at the same time.

In a separate story, the $4 million worth star gave his followers a peek at his tattered pair of socks. The pair he was wearing was completely torn at the bottom, with the underside of his feet almost clearly visible.

To accompany the miserly approach to his socks, Adesanya added Kanye West’s hit number ‘Gold Digger’ as the background music for the story. Further, he wrote, “I’m still bout the hobolife…got spare change plz?”

Albeit funny, this one pales in comparison to another social media stunt Adesanya pulled recently. After announcing his entry into Threads on its rival app Twitter, Adesanya shocked the MMA community with his first post.

Israel Adesanya shook up the MMA community on social media after his first Threads post featured heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Adesanya and Jones had been beefing for quite a while. There were even talks of the middleweight star moving up in weight and fighting Jones.

However, that did not come to fruition. Surprisingly, fans got to see both of them squash their beef in a healthy and wholesome exchange that came out of the blue. The pair made headlines with just a few minutes of them play-sparring and hugging it out.

It has been an eventful few days on social media for Adesanya, who has been inactive since beating Alex Pereira in April. This weekend, his eyes will probably be on UFC 290 as Robert Whittaker and Dricus Du Plessis battle it out for the number-one contender spot.
