UFC star Nate Diaz desires to fight soon. On Twitter, he has been asking the UFC for a fight so that he can get done with his last fight with the promotion. He and Dustin Poirier had been going back and forth for a fight. However, many fans want to see a trilogy fight with Conor McGregor. In addition to all this, boxer Jake Paul has called out Diaz.

Jake Shields spoke to Helen Yee about the conditions under which the Stockton Slugger could fight Paul. According to him, good pay is essential.

Shields said, “Probably if he wins a couple of more boxing matches. Nate obviously needs to be out of his contract as well, and it would have to be a great payday. I mean, imagine. Money talks, you know. If he offers enough money, it would be a lot more likely to get him interested. He ain’t going to fight him, you know, $5-10 million. He’ll have to offer a real payday.”

Thus, it looks like Paul might have to earn the Nate Diaz fight. After all, Diaz has been a professional MMA fighter since 2004. Further, seeing him in the boxing ring would surely be a different experience from his UFC fights. However, to see him venture out into boxing, he would have to fulfill his UFC contract.
What else does Nate Diaz have on his plate apart from Jake Paul?
The 21-13-0 record holder is currently coming off two losses. While he had an extremely long run with the UFC, all good things must come to an end.

Diaz has been open about his decision to retire. Hence, his last fight with the promotion ought to be a big name. This is where McGregor and Poirier come in. With there being uncertainty regarding when McGregor will be back, Diaz fighting Poirier at welterweight seems more probable. However, a fight with ‘The Notorious’ would be extremely huge.
