When Depp testified against Heard during their defamation trial, the courtroom was introduced to the actress’ neighbor and the friend, Raquel Rose Pennington. As per ‘MMA Mania‘, people seem to confuse Pennington with UFC fighter Raquel Rocky Pennington.

This confusion might have become too much for the UFC fighter because she took to Twitter to clarify that he had nothing to do with the high-profile case.

The fighter wrote several Tweets to clarify the confusion. In her initial tweet, she wrote, “lol everything. Ppl are yapping hard and don’t realize that they are talking to the wrong Raquel.”

Her last tweet on the subject so far read, “This is becoming comical at this point how people are so “invested” in the deep vs herd case but don’t have facts together or can’t even google to realize I don’t know those people and am not involved.”

Thus, the UFC women’s bantamweight fighter has done her best to clarify the confusion that has taken place because of extremely similar names. In fact, she even laughed off a photoshopped image of her with Amber Heard.

While Pennington testifies on behalf of Heard, it seems to have caused problems for the wrong Pennington. However, it does not seem like the case has affected any other UFC person. However, several people from the promotion are interested and following the case.

One such person is UFC commentator Joe Rogan. He discussed the case on his podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. In addition to this, middleweight fighter Sean Strickland took a few jabs at the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor. Thus, many people are waiting for the case to reach its conclusion.
