Chris Weidman took to social media and revealed that he was scheduled to undergo yet another surgery on his leg. The former middleweight champ suffered a potential career-ending injury at UFC 261 when he faced off against Uriah Hall. Hall checked a calf kick by Weidman and ‘The All-American’ snapped his leg in devastating fashion.
The injury was shades of Anderson Silva’s leg break when he fought Chris Weidman in their second fight. Chiefly, this is what made the injury even more bizarre and fans simply couldn’t get over the irony of the situation. However, Weidman was determined to get back on track and began the process of rehabilitation immediately.

Chris Weidman’s last victory came to Omari Akhmedov in August 2020 and he’s 2-3 in his last five fights.
