Nate Diaz is the hottest prospect for all the promotions in the world of combat sports. After leaving the UFC in 2022, the former UFC star is a free agent and all the promotions are vying for his signature. Diaz will be able to bag a lot of offers such as those from boxing or even MMA promotions like BKFC and PFL.

The Stockton man was rumored to have been approached by the BKFC in the past. However, nothing materialized at that point. Now, a former UFC champion has made his desire to fight free agent Diaz in BKFC.

Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez has made his wish to face Nate Diaz in a bare-knuckle fight. He hopes to rekindle their past feud in the new promotion.

Alvarez detailed his previous encounters with Diaz, “I almost fought Nate in Mexico when I was fighting Gilbert Melendez.”

Furthermore, he added, “I confronted him in Mexico City about grilling me and doing some weird little kid bulls—t and we got into it then UFC broke it all up… He’s a free agent, I’m over here and I’d love to fight someone like him after this.”

Alvarez also noted that the Stockton Gangster is currently within the same weight class as him so a fight shouldn’t be inconvenient for both. Moreover, they crossed paths in the past during their UFC careers. However, Alvarez stated that they could not make the fight happen due to “timing, title shots, you name it, wrong opponents.”
