Jon Jones put the MMA world on notice with his remarkable victory against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. Although it was Jones’ debut in the heavyweight category, he did not fail to impress and receive praise from MMA fans. Now, his match against Stipe Miocic is what the fans look forward to. Jones has arguably remained undefeated in his career with his one loss coming from a controversial disqualification. However, Daniel Cormier thinks that the champion was beatable.

In the recent episode of DC & RC, Cormier revealed his thoughts about Jones and his performance in the heavyweight division. He believed that although Jones had a lot of time to prepare for his heavyweight debut, he was, in fact, slower and over-exploited his left hand.
DC said, “I don’t know if he beats the Jon Jones at 205. The fast guy that had to do so much to prepare himself. But, the Jon Jones we saw at heavyweight that, like I said, he’s a bit slower, he overthrew that left hand, Ciryl Gane just didn’t respond. Pavlovich won’t do that.”
Moreover, Cormier also stated that if faced against Pavlovich, ‘Bones’ might face defeat. He said, “I think that guy is more beatable for Sergei Pavlovich.”

He said, “If you can get through Curtis Blaydes, especially as a striker, it tells you that you are able to go and fight the best in the world. “
