Former Polish UFC Champion Jan Blachowicz Sends a Powerful Message Amidst Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Jan Blachowicz, a Polish national, MMA sensation, and a former UFC champion, sent a message of peace for his followers and people across the world as his neighboring countries are engrossed in a deep-seated conflict.

Jan Blachowicz, owner of legendary Polish power, as they like to call it in the premier promotion, never shies away from having a say on a social issue. Recently, when a famous footballer committed an act of animal cruelty, Blachowicz was one of the first ones to call out the fellow athlete. And now, as turmoil engulfs the nations across his own, he’s again spoken out.

Blachowicz recently wrote a simple yet deep message on his Twitter as he tried to persuade people to follow a better path, “War always makes innocent suffer. I hope that peace can be restored soon 💙💛,” he said.

Ever since he stepped into the UFC octagon, fans have known Jan Blachowicz for his legendary Polish power and now as he has taken a break from all the UFC action the Pole decided to get it trademarked.

“After my first win in the UFC, I said that I would like to show the world  Legendary Polish Power. I have worked really hard to make sure it is not just a cool slogan, but three words that will be my trademark all over the world. With a few exceptions – I think I managed to do just that and this tag line is permanently associated with me.”

“Therefore, I am pleased to inform you that some time ago at the European Union Intellectual Property Office in Alicante, an application for the word trademark of ”Legendary Polish Power” and its Polish equivalent was officially put down.”

“Now is the time to remind everyone that there is only one Legendary Polish Power and it comes from my fists and legs 👊”

Blachowicz is recently coming out of a loss against UFC veteran Glover Teixeira, who defeated him at UFC 267 to become the new light heavyweight king. This came right after Blachowicz gave middleweight star Israel Adesanya the first defeat of his MMA career at UFC 259.
