Ronda Rousey is a pioneer of women’s MMA and has accomplished significant milestones in her MMA career. Rousey was solely responsible for drawing eyes to the UFC women’s bantamweight division. Fans loved her brashy attitude and unmatched judo skills. Recently, she joined former UFC champion Daniel Cormier to talk about her judo career.

Daniel Cormier posted a new video on his YouTube channel where he sat alongside Ronda Rousey to discuss topics related to her career. In one segment, Rousey spoke about how she was “p**sed off” at her judo career.

Cormier asked Rousey when she was young and had just joined the Olympic team if she had envisioned being a superstar. Rousey responded, “I remember being kind of p**sed off that I was so good at something that was so useless as a career.”

Cormier then pointed out that even if one makes it to the top of wrestling or judo, they don’t make enough money. Rousey agreed with Cormier and added, “They used to tax us on what we took home, and I’m going to give myself credit for this. I just b**ched about it enough.”

Cormier then asked Rousey if it was difficult for her to walk away from the fight game. She replied, “I think it was difficult in both judo and MMA and that everyone else felt that they wanted more from me.”

Ronda Rousey had an impressive career in the UFC. Her elite judo skills, combined with deadly armbar finishes, helped her climb to the top.

Rousey was an instant star when she won the bantamweight title in 2013. She stayed champion for over two years and successfully defended the belt 5 times. No one came close to her skills, and she displayed pure dominance in all her fights.

Sadly for her, there was a big twist in the tale after her fight with Holly Holm. Holm ended the fight with an iconic head kick, which is one of the most remembered fight moments in UFC history. She then took on Amanda Nunes, hoping to win back the title.

Unfortunately for her, she was knocked out in the first round. Rousey retired from the UFC after this bout and transitioned into the WWE.
