Luke Rockhold gives his opinion on Dana White after New Year’s eve

Luke Rockhold recently appeared on ‘The MMA hour’ with Ariel Helwani. The former UFC middleweight champion gave his opinion on Dana White’s actions on New Year’s Eve and the subsequent repercussions that followed. Helwani Asked Rockhold, “Do you agree with Dana that basically, the whole company sinks if he is not around? That theory that he put out. He said, “If I leave, if I get punished for what he [I] did on New Year’s day, it hurts the company more than it hurts me”. Did you see the press conference when he said that?”

Rockhold answered, “I did not see that press conference. But I think there’s, yeah, it’s the way of negotiations favors Dana. I mean without Dana the sport is, the sport is better. The company might have to make amends with the fighters. I think that’s when you get legitimacy to the pace to the left to the scales. Dana holds the scales”

Furthermore, the controversial journalist asked, “Are you surprised nothing happened to him?” Rockhold answered, “WME and Willaim Morris like it that way. So they don’t want that. They don’t want that to change.”

Helwani asked if Rockhold was surprised. Rockhold said, “Yeah, very much.” It seemed like Helwani and Rockhold are on the same page regarding the issue.
