Several controversies mar the FIFA World Cup Qatar edition. The ban on beer inside the stadiums has been annoying fans who have reached Qatar to witness the world cup. The recent dispute erupted after former Miss Croatia was seen being clicked by grinning Qatari fans in the stadium during Croatia vs Morocco match. A Qatari entrepreneur said that the pictures were being taken in disapproval. He then added that they might use the snaps for reporting to the authorities. Following the incident, the UFC veteran fighter Jorge Masvidal took to Facebook to express himself on the matter.

Ivanka Knoll had earlier expressed her discontent over the organization. She had taken to Instagram to tell fans about her entourage’s troubles during the ongoing World Cup.

Knoll might be in trouble as a Qatari entrepreneur, Mohammed Hassan Al-Jefairi, suggested that the Qatari men had clicked pictures in disapproval and may use the pictures as evidence against Knoll for flouting the dress code rules.?

Jorge Masvidal trolls Qatari Gentlemen

Knoll was spotted in a red and white bikini top that exposed her shoulders. Women fans are not to expose their shoulders and knees. Jorge Masvidal has now clapped back at the Qatari gentlemen as he posted a picture showing the Qataris clicking Ivanka Knoll and captioned it “The Thirst“.

Fans seemed to agree with his view and responded to his post. Masvidal didn’t mince his words while calling out Qataris for their hypocrisy. He wanted to put out the fact that on one side Qatar was forcing fans to dress according to a dress code while being busy clicking the Croatian model.

Apart from the not-so-user-friendly organization and several complaints regarding Hayya Cards and mismanagement, the world cup has been criticized by fans all around the world. Alleged violations of the Human Rights of the workers involved have been a big talking point.

If Ivanka Knoll will face any action for disobeying the dress code is something to watch out for. It is, however, very clear that soccer fans around the world aren’t totally loving the World Cup; as it’s not meeting their general expectations. The FIFA World cup is a festival for fans. Fans will hope that the sporting excellence of their favorite teams will cover up for all the issues.
