There is no other fighter in the UFC right now that can get under their opponent’s skin like Conor McGregor. Ahead of his fight against Floyd Mayweather, which is referred to as the biggest bout in the history of combat sports, McGregor took it to another level by reminding Mayweather of an instance that landed him behind bars.
McGregor rocked a jersey of the former Golden State Warriors point guard, CJ Watson, who was reportedly having an affair with Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend. According to reports, on finding out about her affair, the boxer raised his hands on his partner, which landed him in jail.

The statement read, “[The stunt] demonstrates not only an insensitivity toward the emotional wellbeing and privacy of the victim of Mayweather’s dom. violence. But, also a general disregard for the physical and emotional trauma and long-lasting psychological impacts suffered by victims of dom. abuse.”
“On behalf of Josie Harris, her and Mayweather’s three children, and all victims of domestic violence, we ask that Conor McGregor refrains from capitalizing off of the trauma suffered by her and other victims of domestic abuse,” her lawyer, Dan Friedlander reported to TMZ.

He repeatedly told the media that he sensed fear coming from Aldo, and also promised a first-round finish. His trash talk was on another level and he took every chance he could to find a way to slam the Brazilian.
