However, there is yet another boxer that Till has had an eye on. Earlier, a Twitter user suggested a boxing match between Till and Carl Froch. In an interview, ‘The Gorilla’ spoke about this matchup suggestion. He seems open to the idea of entering the world of boxing as well.

Till said, “I’d absolutely punch Carl Froch.”

Till further said, “F**k Carl Froch… I would strangle the c*** out”.

The UFC fighter also spoke about his two back-to-back losses against Robert Whittaker and then Derek Brunson. Back in 2019, he also faced Jorge Masvidal and Tyron Woodley. Till unfortunately lost bouts against these four great fighters. However, he is determined to make a name for himself in combat sports, whether it is boxing or MMA. He is confident about his boxing skills and is of the opinion that he can defeat Froch.

While the boxing match between Till and Froch was just a suggestion by a fan, it seems like the UFC fighter has given it some thought. With other MMA fighters like Conor McGregor and Tyron Woodley dabbling into boxing, Till might have taken some inspiration.

Froch had retired a while back but seems interested in a comeback. Hence, Till might have a chance to face the boxer.

Darren Till’s MMA career

The 18-4-1 record holder has had a great MMA career. He started fighting professionally back in 2013 and has been with several promotions like Sparta MMA, AFC and others. He joined the UFC in 2015. UFC fighter Tyron Woodley was the first fighter to defeat Till. Before this fight, the Brish fighter won 17 spectacular fights consecutively. After Woodley, Till lost several other important bouts.
