The Joe Rogan Experience has been knocked off its throne. Fans of the podcast will agree that Rogan’s social commentary is not only some of the most bizarre but also the most entertaining. The podcast often sees big stars from all walks of fame join the UFC commentator for a chat. This wide range of guests and topics is what attracts the eyes of millions of fans every single episode.
Many believe that Rogan’s eccentric conversations might just reclaim the spot soon. But until then, who is this new competitor in the market? The move doesn’t come from a veteran podcaster. In fact, it comes from a star from a whole different platform.

Hot Mess with Alix Earle is the newest podcast in town. Alix Earle found fame on TikTok with her ‘Get Ready With Me’ videos where she would usually speak openly about her life. The podcast follows the same theme. It’s a deep dive into Earle’s private life in a way that fans of the influencer find interesting.
The Joe Rogan Experience, on the other hand, is an all-encompassing melting pot of culture, topics, people, and everything in between. The podcaster comes from an MMA background so having fighters like Francis Ngannou or Israel Adesanya is more than normal for Rogan. The casual conversations while smoking cigars is a format that fans have come to love.

However, in spite of all of this, Rogan’s podcast has fallen behind before. Earlier this year, the podcast was taken off the number one position by This Week On The Internet, a podcast about pop culture by YouTuber WillNE. So it’s safe to say that Rogan won’t be losing any sleep over the rankings. After all, the UFC caster was paid $200 million to hand over exclusive publishing rights to Spotify.
Earle’s first episode overtakes Joe Rogan with his last few episodes
It’s interesting to note that so far, the TikTok star has only released one episode. It showed up on 21st September and was titled ‘Just Friends?’ Meanwhile, Rogan did about four episodes that very week. Two before Earle’s first episode dropped and two afterward. In his most recent conversation, the podcaster spoke with former UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou. The two talked about Ngannou’s next fight, his move to leave the UFC and much more.

Meanwhile, Alix Earle is getting more and more fame as time goes on. Even though the influencer doesn’t have an exclusive deal with Spotify, she’s pulling great numbers. Looks like her engagement with TikTok brought her all the attention she needed and probably even more. However, will it keep Rogan’s podcast away for good? We’ll have to wait and watch.
