The Final episode of Dana White‘s Powerslap is out. Wolverine defeated Darius the destroyer in the final to win the first edition of the Powerslap. While Dana White looked proud of what the promotion had achieved in the first season, criticisms have also come from several quarters. Powerslap was under the scanner for ignoring the safety of the athletes. US Congressman from the Democratic party Bill Pascrell Jr. had voiced his concerns too. He even wrote to the producers, calling it “mindless violence”.

Despite all the criticism, the owner of the promotion, Dana White, looked steady and firm in his stance. He showed confidence in Powerslap and has defended the league against all the odds. White looked enthusiastic about the social media numbers that the league created. He, however, expressed his anger against the media, who has not been supportive of his latest venture.
Dana White is not happy with media
In a recent talk that appeared on Instagram, an agitated Dana White explained why he wasn’t revealing too much about the Powerslap in front of the media. Dana White was of the opinion that the media was trying to cancel out his newest venture. He said, “I didn’t really tell the media too much because they are a bunch of scumbags. Every time i would announce something these pieces of shit would literally reach out and try to get this sh*t cancelled. It’s the same thing with a slap, If you look at what all these fuc***ng scumbags have been writing and doing.”
Dana White further explained that he was afraid of the media houses trying to sabotage his projects. He added, “we recieved approval from 5 states for the whole slap events, i didn’t name 1 state because every fuc***g scumbag in the media would have been at the phone, trying to call these states, going what are you doing. This is horrible, this is disgusting what I am gonna continue to do is build this thing and grow it and shove it right up all their fuc***g a**es.”

Powerslap in turbulent waters
Dana White may have put a brave face defending his promotion, but all is not well. There is no definite news about the second season of the show. The voices against the show and its safety standards have only grown. Former competitor Kortney Olson had recently said that she was happy that the second season was canceled. Olson came into the limelight after a slap knocked her out. It was so bad she made an unconscious front roll while trying to get up.
While the sport that was once specific to Russia and Poland can thank Dana White for bringing it to other parts of the world, it remains to be seen how Dana White grows Powerslap. The voices of criticism keep growing against the Powerslap with every passing day.
