Is Dana White's support for veterans enough, or should he take on even more initiatives?

UFC head honcho Dana White’s efforts to “Make America Great Again” go beyond aiding his ally, newly elected President Donald Trump, in his 2024 victory. Now, the UFC boss is turning his focus toward supporting U.S. military veterans, further demonstrating his commitment to his home country.

Recently, Dana White has been in the spotlight, balancing his responsibilities as UFC CEO with his vocal support for Trump, who secured a decisive victory over Kamala Harris by 86 votes. Just a day after his latest meeting with President Trump, the UFC head honcho shared a heartfelt Veterans Day tribute on Instagram. Along with a photo, Trump posted a message to all Americans with the caption, “Happy Veterans Day 2024.”

In an Instagram story, Dana White shared a screenshot of a message from California-based financial investment firm Intellectus Partners, which has launched a new initiative titled ‘Serving Those Who Served.’ This program offers “free financial consulting“, providing retired veterans with advice on retirement and investments, regardless of their branch of service.

Dana White showed his support by adding, “Happy Veterans Day. Vets, go to @intellectuspartners for free financial consulting.”

Veterans Day is celebrated annually on November 11th to honor military veterans who have given their sweat and blood for their country. Originally known as Armistice Day, it commemorated the signing of the Armistice Treaty between the Allies and Germany to end World War I. In 1954, the holiday was officially renamed Veterans Day to recognize and honor all American soldiers, both living and fallen. The UFC and Dana White have consistently supported veterans’ causes, with notable partnerships such as those with the Wounded Warrior Project and Harley-Davidson, both of which continue to leave a lasting impact.

Throwback: UFC and Dana White donate generously for Veterans Day

When fight fans were celebrating Alex Pereira’s dominating win against former champion Jiri Prochazka, marking his rise to the top of the light heavyweight division at the memorable UFC 295 in the heart of the ‘Big Apple’ during Veterans Day week last year, the UFC and Dana White were working behind the scenes to support a meaningful cause.

The organization raised and donated more than $80,000, partnering with various nonprofit organizations like Anthem Snacks, a SOF combat veteran-owned and operated premium meat snack company. The proceeds supported the Special Forces Charitable Trust (SFCT), which provides assistance to Green Berets and their families, as well as another organization that builds mortgage-free homes for handicapped veterans.

Through our collaboration, we have not only raised awareness for the Special Forces Charitable Trust, but also made a significant contribution that will profoundly impact the lives of Green Berets and their families.”
