Max Holloway has surely been the talk of the town for his upcoming featherweight clash against Chan Sung Jung. Looking forward to continuing his winning reign in Singapore, Holloway has surely been the fans’ favorite. However, there is one big matter of concern that has definitely raised the ire of Holloway. And he expressed his pain recently.
The 31-year-old recently spoke out about his emotions over the catastrophic wildfire that worsened the condition of Hawaii, as a thousand people are still missing. In fact, his emotions resurfaced on the social media platform ‘X, as he also showcased UFC president Dana White’s next step concerning the mishap in a press conference.

The ‘X’ handle of the renowned MMA page ‘MMA Fighting’ recently made Holloway’s quotes a highlight. Seemingly, the wildfire raised concerns throughout the globe, and it was obvious for Holloway, being a Hawaiian himself, to spill beans on his personal thoughts. In fact, the post worked to resurface his quotes. It had a caption that stated, “Max Holloway spoke from the heart about the devastating wildfires impacting Maui.” As was apparent from the video, the conversation was initiated when Holloway was asked to share his thoughts on the mishap.
Concerning the doubt, Holloway went on to address it, but little did he know that he would shed tears while expressing his notions. “Actually I would you know, the Lahaina people I mean… I am sure it is all over the world. And you guys saw how everything went down, how the Lahaina people was let down.” Said Holloway.
“I always go in there with Hawaii on my back, but it feels a little bit heavier now.”

He didn’t stop here since he had to highlight the UFC head honcho’s steps regarding this concern. He quoted, “After the Hawaiians stepped up the world stepped up. You guys are seeing and everything, the people are helping you know, the UFC is helping out with um, UFC loves Hawaii and so on so on.”
In order to pay homage to the catastrophe he continued saying, “I am actually using red for first time in my UFC career I have been using black being the first one. I was able to be granted red for the shorts. So, yeah a lot of things. I always go in there with Hawaii on my back, but it feels a little bit heavier now.”
Indeed, ‘Blessed’ seemed in immense pain while addressing the issue. He is all set to fight ‘The Korean Zombie, but this time in red shorts. He is doing so as a sign of respect to those who lost their lives in an utter calamity. But what is the story behind those missing people?
