Despite his involvement in past controversies, White has successfully shielded his family from the public spotlight that accompanies being the face of an entire sport. However, he recently shared a heartwarming post on his personal Instagram account in honor of one of his children!

Long-time partners Dana and Anne White got married in 1996. They have three children. On his Instagram story, White posted a picture of his daughter, Savannah White, to celebrate National Daughter’s Day.  He captioned the post, “Happy #nationaldaughterday @savy_white”

While White has typically kept his family life private on social media, he and his wife found themselves in the spotlight in 2022 after a public altercation. Experts and fighters in the combat sports community criticized the incident after a video of it went viral.

In response, White issued a public apology, acknowledging that alcohol played a role in the incident and expressing regret. Both he and his wife stated that they had worked through the issue as a family.

In recent developments, the merger of the company with WWE has resulted in Dana White being named the CEO of the UFC. This merger, which White has described as a new chapter in the organization’s history, has created “TKO Group Holdings”. Bringing together UFC and WWE under one umbrella.

Dana White, alongside WWE’s Vince McMahon and Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange during a TKO presentation. At a press conference following Dana White’s Contender Series 62, he expressed his excitement about the future.

Stating that the merger elevates the entire sport to a new level. He emphasized that despite the merger, the demands of his role as CEO remain unchanged, except for the company’s new name. He stated, “I’m excited about the future and what we’re going to do. And I always am, regardless, but after this merger, we’re just so much more powerful than we were yesterday.”

White also highlighted the financial support the merger will provide for the ongoing expansion and construction of UFC Performance Institutes worldwide. Currently, the promotion runs its PIs in Las Vegas and Shanghai, with another one nearing completion in Mexico City. The merger will solidify the UFC’s position as the premier combat sports organization in the world by increasing its power and resources.
