Fans are no strangers to former UFC double champ Conor McGregor‘s infamous Twitter rants. But every once in a while, apart from going off on his peers, he also comes up with tweets that just serve as pure entertainment for his followers.

The Irishman’s latest post on the micro-blogging site did just that as he shared his rendition of a song yet to be identified. Fans, quite obviously, lost it over McGregor’s singing, as many pointed out that it might be yet another one of the Irishman’s “drunk” tweets, which he has been rather notorious for. Whatever may be the case, his attempt at singing from an entertainment perspective was quite hilarious; which many also pointed out in the Twitter thread.

In what appeared to be his rendition of some Irish song, McGregor shared an audio clip over two minutes long, which was again followed by a continuation in the same thread.

Fans were clearly taken aback after listening to the audio, as some of them suggested McGregor not to try his hands at singing again.

The obvious reference to Proper 12 and the Irishman getting drunk was also made by a fan.

Surprisingly, a few were apparently impressed with his vocal skills.

The rest of the sections were just a reference to McGregor’s drunken revelries.

One fan seemed concerned with the Irishman’s habits as well.

Looks like ‘The Notorious’ had quite a blast here; at least that’s what looks like the fans assumed.

Fans eagerly wait on a McGregor vs Michael Chandler announcement

While his tweets serve as some sort of entertainment, ultimately it’s McGregor’s fights that fans ardently look forward to. Having been away from the cage for a while now, his involvement with this season’s edition of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ means the Irishman is expected to be back fighting soon. But despite having wrapped up shooting duties for the show, there haven’t been many developments concerning his fight against Michael Chandler.

Adding to the complications is also USADA’s policy; which demands that a fighter to be available for six months of testing before he or she is eligible for a fight. As per reports, McGregor hasn’t yet joined the testing pool; which could mean a further delay of announcement on his fight.

Apart from the obvious concerns, there has been no clear disclosure of which weight class the fight would take place in. Although both fighters appear to be ready to square up as Welterweights, instead of their natural 155 lbs, there hasn’t been any confirmation of this aspect as well.
