The big day is here. Conor McGregor is coming back to the UFC. He will not be fighting at an event, though. The Irishman is set to be coaching at ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ opposite to Michael Chandler. However, this is not the first time that Conor McGregor will be coaching in TUF. He coached the reality show in 2015 against Urijah Faber. Recently, Brendan Schaub has made assumptions about what the former double division champ might be doing it because it is a splendid opportunity to work around the USADA tests.

On his YouTube show, Brendan Schaub discussed Conor McGregor‘s return. He had a lot of observations and assumptions about how things may fold out for Conor McGregor. ‘Big Brown’ went on to predict possible opponents for the ‘Mystic Mac’ when he comes back.

Talking about what the future holds for the 34-year-old and how the TUF coaching assignment helps him Brendan Schaub said, oh here’s the thing too it gives it buys Conor time right when you saw the test and all that so he doesn’t if you were like where’s the fight where’s the fight they’d have to do this weird loophole where they have to give them exemptions so this buys time we know at the end of this show he’s gonna fight.”

McGregor has been away from the UFC cage since his loss against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The former double division champ suffered a fractured tibia that pushed him out of the cage and the recovery has kept him away since 2021. The Irishman had shown signs of recovery as he posted videos of his fitness on his social media, but the USADA testing pool has always remained a block.

The USADA needs an athlete to be in the testing pool for a minimum of 6 months and needs them to clear at least 2 tests before being cleared for participation in the UFC. The TUF may buy Conor McGregor sometime to be ready for the USADA tests.
