Ex-UFC Fighter Takes a Brutal Jibe at an Economist While Backing Elon Musk After His “Republican” Comments

Jake Shields, MMA coach at Xtreme Couture and former UFC welterweight title challenger, took a massive jibe at an Economist David Rothschild while backing Twitter owner Elon Musk.

The ex-UFC fighter Shields is one of the most active celebrities on social media. Ever since the South African billionaire Elon Musk bought Twitter, Sheilds has been the happiest. He now openly shares his thoughts on ongoing world situations on his official Twitter account.

Recently, the CEO Tesla Musk made a political comment. He wrote, “In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party. But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold.”

However, Musk’s tweet didn’t sit well with the famous Economist David Rothschild. He quickly replied to the tweet while taking a jibe at the Twitter owner.

“Rich white son of emerald mine owner who grew up in apartheid South Africa is the real victim in our society #ThoughtsAndPrayers.” Rothschild wrote in response.

However, Rothschild’s comments agitated the former UFC fighter Sheilds, who has previously lauded Musk’s intention to use Twitter for free speech. While taking a nasty dig at the economist, Sheilds backed Musk. He wrote, “If your last name is Rothschild. Probably not a good idea to bash others for growing up privileged”

As aforementioned, the former UFC title challenger Sheilds is very casual about sharing his opinion regarding any topic. And recently he did the same with the American president Joe Biden.

Joe Biden, the president of the United States of America, recently commented on the Russian economy amidst the critical situation between Russian and other countries.

However, Shields countered his comments and also shared his opinion on Biden’s claims. “When Joe Biden said he will destroy the Russian economy, what he actually meant was, he will destroy the American economy.” Shields wrote with a screenshot from the news. It also included a smiling picture of the Russian president Vladimir Putin.
