Israel Adesanya is all set to return at UFC 300, at least according to a UFC veteran. Adesanya was last seen inside the Octagon when he faced Sean Strickland at UFC 293. “The Last Stylebender” lost the fight and his middleweight title to Strickland. Since then, the 34-year-old has not returned to the Octagon. 

As fans desperately wait for his return, and with UFC 300 already announced, will “The Last Stylebender” return at UFC 300? Trying to answer our doubts, Chael Sonnen had some thoughts to share.

The next middleweight title fight is scheduled for UFC 297, where the current champion, Sean Strickland, will take on Dricus Du Plessis. Both fighters engaged in a brawl during the UFC 296 main event. In his recent YouTube video, Sonnen analyzed the whole situation and gave the fans his perspective. 

Adesanya is one of the biggest superstars in the UFC, and his return at UFC 300 will surely boost the event. Although there has been no official announcement of his return, Sonnen feels a bit different. 

In a recent YouTube video, he said, “Like it was just one of these things, I’m just reminding you that this was a narrative at one time. When that fight was made, I was very confident and speculating for you guys that needs to get done behind him and the winner is going to draw into Izzy upon his return at 300 and a rematch of Izzy vs. Strickland works all day long. ”

Sonnen feels that the winner of the fight at UFC 297 will face Israel Adesanya at UFC 300. Strickland and Du Plessis are coming off massive victories in their last fights, and with the latest brawl that took place, UFC 297 will surely be a spectacle for the fans.

Sean Strickland vs. Dricus Du Plessis for the middleweight title

UFC 297 will highlight two of the best strikers in the division going against each other. The margin of error in the fight is significantly less as both the fighters are high in confidence. ‘Stillknocks’ last featured at UFC 290, defeating Robert Whittaker via TKO. “Tarzan,” on the other hand, won his fight against Israel Adesanya via decision at UFC 293, thus making him the current middleweight champion.

The fans eagerly await the bout after the fighters went into a brawl against each other at UFC 296. Strickland jumped onto Du Plessis, and punches were thrown left, right, and center.
