Boxing legend ‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard once said that boxing was a poor man’s sport. And for good reason. Why would they choose to make a living getting hurt and hurting others if they had other opportunities? But, thanks to the internet, this is no longer the case. Today, YouTubers, social media personalities, and other celebrities are putting on fight cards that are even outselling UFC events.

For example, the recent Misfits Boxing card featuring the likes of Logan Paul, Dillon Danis, Ksi, and Tommy Fury outsold UFC 294 at the same time. But perhaps the most bizarre is the potential cage fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, which, as it turns out, may still happen.

Earlier this year, Musk, in reply to a tweet, jokingly suggested he would be willing to fight Zuckerberg if the Meta CEO was up for it. The latter accepted the challenge. However, after some back-and-forth, he said he would be moving on from the Musk fight after accusing the latter of not being serious about the fight.

Elon Musk made his fourth appearance on the JRE podcast yesterday. On the podcast, Joe Rogan suggested that their fight happens in ‘The Sphere’ in Las Vegas. The Tesla CEO praised the iconic venue and called it the best in the world. Musk also accused Zuckerberg of “chickening out” of the bout and reiterated his challenge to Zuckerberg.

I?m willing to do it anytime, anywhere, any place, any rules. I challenge him to a duel under any circumstances. Pistols at dawn, Nerf guns at noon,”?he told Rogan. Musk added that he did not think the bout would be fair as he outweighed ‘Zuck’, giving him an unfair advantage.

However, Zuckerberg and his team see the whole affair very differently. His BJJ instructor,?Khai Wu, appeared on our ES Exclusive Fancast and spoke about the bout and why he thinks Musk is the one dodging his prot?g?.

Wu believed that Musk, who is out of shape and 52 years old, would be no match for Zuckerberg. He laid out the exact game plan that they would use against the Tesla CEO, i.e., tire him out in the initial minutes and then proceed to finish him once his gas tank is depleted. Wu has also said that he doesn’t think Musk is really serious about fighting Zuckerberg.

?He?s, you know, not in the best shape to kind of put things in perspective. So it?s a very simple game plan it?s like drag those guys in the deep water. Try to survive the first couple minutes, circle around, move around, and as the fight gets later in the rounds, Elon is going to (be) gassed. And that?s why I honestly think Elon didn?t take the fight,” he told Noah Lack.
