UFC 314 has been creating quite an uproar in the realm of mixed martial arts. Set to be a war between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes for the featherweight belt, the main event will finally glorify Ilia Topuria’s move to the lightweight division, and let ‘The Great’ have another chance to fight for the belt. In the co-main event, fans will get to witness a battle between Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett. People have been anticipating this bout for ages now. And as the UFC dropped the official poster for the event, the hype hit the roof.
The official UFC 314 poster was divided into 4 sections. The two sections on top were reserved for the main eventers, and those on the bottom were for the co-main eventers. The fighters had a dramatic pose with an orange hue on them. And the background in greyscale with streaks of what seemed like a brownish orange created a pleasant contrast. At the very bottom, the sponsors Bud Light and Intuit Turbotax got a shoutout. On the other side, the poster pointed out that the event would take place at Kaseya Center, Miami.
Needless to say, this poster was one of the first in recent times where the contestants weren’t facing each other or standing beside each other. MMA Orbit also shared the poster on X. The caption to the tweet read, “The OFFICIAL #UFC314 poster just dropped! 🔥” This was followed by the MMA account asking the fighting community to rate the poster out of 10.
