UFC Kansas City’s main card started off with a bang as the first two fights saw knockout finishes by Ikram Aliskerov and Randy Brown. However, the latter’s fight against Nicolas Dalby received praise from the fans as both welterweights put on a fight to remember, although it lasted only a couple of rounds. ‘Rudeboy’ won the fight and left ‘The Danish Dynamite’ broken, especially his nose, in the first round—but Dalby kept fighting.
Randy Brown may have scored the knockout of the year at UFC Kansas City when he landed a strong right hand on Nicolas Dalby. It looked like a punch out of BMF champ Max Holloway’s playbook. While Brown’s now looking to butt heads against anyone in the top 15, things didn’t go well for the Danish fighter, who recorded his second loss on the trot.
It’d be wrong to say that Nicolas Dalby didn’t have his moments during the fight. There were times in the opening round when he caught Randy Brown with a punch that rocked the taller welterweight. However, it wasn’t enough to stop Brown, who came back at Dalby with some vicious strikes of his own. One of those strikes caught ‘Danish Dynamite’ on the face and rearranged his nose.

Fans applaud and show concern for Nicolas Dalby
Nicolas Dalby’s broken nose was apparently tended to after the first round ended. His cornermen put it in place for him to continue fighting, but he would go on to lose the fight against Randy Brown. While he did earn praise from the fans, they also expressed concern for his well-being. While UFC veteran Michael Chiesa wrote, “That fight was wild! Incredible finish from Randy Brown,” on X, congratulating ‘Rudeboy’ on his impressive knockout win, others praised Dalby for showing his warrior mentality even when he was hurt. “The way he kept fighting after his nose broke was inspirational,” one fan added in that regard.
“Looks like he smeared it across his face,” said one fan about Randy Brown’s punch that broke Nicolas Dalby’s nose, while another fan appeared convinced about the Danish fighter breaking his nose. “Yup that is broken and then some,” that fan commented on an X post. Things could have gotten really bad for Dalby, but the fans noticed that the cutman did his job well to get him back into the fight. “Cut man did a great job not bleeding much now.”
