Nate Diaz made headlines by slapping Conor McGregor’s teammate. Bellator fighter Dillon Danis annoyed Diaz when he was interacting with McGregor’s manager Audie Attar. They got into a tussle on the street, right outside Madison Square Garden after UFC 281.

Diaz landed a massive slap on Dillon Danis’ friend, which was caught on tape. UFC President Dana White heard of this news and commented on this being a normal day for the 37-year-old MMA fighter.

Dana White commented on Nate Diaz’s altercation

UFC President Dana White issued a statement on the incident. When told that Nate Diaz was infamously involved in another feud, The UFC president stated “That’s a shocker, really? The thing was that this event has been sold out for a while and Nate called last night wanting six tickets. We didn’t have six tickets to give him, so he ended up figuring it out and got some seats.” He explained.

El Diablo’s involvement makes Dana White expect menace. “I went over and talked to him tonight. It’s all good. Every time they show up I expect something to happen. Not much bothers me anymore at this point.” The UFC boss is well aware of Diaz’s reputation for being a bad boy.

The UFC president is used to Diaz creating trouble these days. Hence, the news about his altercation with Dillon Danis and co. didn’t really bother him.

Nate Diaz is not afraid to dish out a slap in public

Conor McGregor’s manager and friend, Audie Attar, was handling Nate Diaz when Dillon Danis and his friend got involved post-UFC 281. Diaz was in attendance to see Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira, Dustin Poirier, and Michael Chandler in action.

Diaz ran into the group of Audie Attar, and a long-time rival Dillon Danis amidst a crowd. Danis has previously had incidents with Diaz due to Conor’s rivalry with Nate Diaz over their Octagon matches.

Danis and his friend start to assert themselves while standing behind Attar. Nate Diaz decided he didn’t want anything coming out from both of them and raised his hand. He landed the slap on Danis’ friend, who was standing right behind Attar. The 37-year-old said “I’ll f*ck you up” before hitting him.
