Mark Zuckerberg trains as he codes- relentlessly and thoughtfully. The Meta CEO is a very dedicated mixed martial artist who has won multiple competitions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. And all of this happened way before Elon Musk ever challenged him to a cage fight.

Recently, Zuckerberg’s training partner appeared for an interview for EssentiallySports ES Fancast. The exclusive interview revealed a lot of details about the Facebook founder’s training life. One of the most interesting details about him had to do with his training partner’s fellow student and his extreme training ritual. Take a look.

Khai Wu recently appeared for an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports Fancast. He is the man behind Mark Zuckerberg. He’s trained and sparred with Zuckerberg for a substantial amount of time. He described Zuckerberg as “athletic” and very passionate about MMA. However, the Facebook Boss isn’t his only student.

The new PFL signee also has other interesting students studying under him. During the interview, he and ES Fancast host Noah Lack were speaking of pre-fight preparations and how very little time may be spared for family life during it all. This is when he revealed an interesting detail about one of his students.

“I have a student,” stated Wu, “And a teammate of mine, Nick. He like, goes away from his family and his family is super cool with him. Like they’re very supportive. He’s [in] a different environment. He’s a different mentality.”

Clearly, every fighter has a separate approach to the art of fighting. Wu mentioned how he personally prefers staying as close to his family as possible. He also talked about how Zuckerberg is so passionate about MMA that he keeps training one way or another. Thankfully, it seems his family is fairly okay with the training. So it’s natural for fighters to choose their own way of preparing and coping with the stress of the fight. In fact, even billionaires like Zuckerberg need to have a way of training.

If Zuckerberg’s last response on Threads is to be believed, Musk vs ‘Zuck’ is likely not happening. The Meta CEO has his mind made up and doesn’t think that Musk is serious. Musk’s elaborate silence on the matter is also a big statement on its own.

“If you go back and defer back to Mark’s last thread about that fight and conversation,” Wu said in the exclusie ES fancast interview. “He said he wanted to move on and if he says that, I believe it and I haven’t heard anything since.”

So now everyone from Team ‘Zuck’ has it confirmed. The Meta CEO won’t be fighting Elon Musk in the foreseeable future. It’s very obvious that Musk is not serious about the fight and Zuckerberg was.
