Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov do not like each other. At all. Mostly due to the Irishman who made it a point to cross every line and insult everything Nurmagomedov held dear- family, religion, country – in the build-up to their infamous UFC 229 fight.

And after ‘The Eagle’ dealt with McGregor, he famously jumped out of the octagon to attack McGregor’s friend and training partner, Dillon Danis. So it is not surprising to see the Bellator fighter gloat and rub salts on the wounds as the Dagestani camp has been hit with bad news recently.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov is the lightweight champion of Bellator. The Dagestani recently made a second successful defence of his title against Brent Primus at Bellator 300  last month. However, he has failed a drug test for that fight and his win has been changed to a ‘No Contest’.

Usman will be suspended for six months with a $50K fine. He will also not be competing in the lightweight Grand Prix at UFC 301. And Dillon Danis, who at this point is notorious as a professional troll, took this opportunity to accuse all Dagestani fighters of doping by using PEDs.

“Everyone from Dagestan is on performance enhancing drugs,” Danis wrote in a quote tweet from MMA Orbit reporting on the incident.

This news comes days after Conor McGregor took to Twitter to remind the world that Islam Makhachev was knocked out cold in his second UFC fight and tested positive for a banned substance. And Danis may yet find himself in the same division as Makhachev if his wish were to come true.

Danis wants to sign with the UFC next

Danis is ostensibly a professional mixed martial artist. However, the New Jersey native has only two MMA fights at Bellator under his belt. Danis is a free agent now and has just one aim: to fight at the UFC. In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Danis said that he would either sign with the UFC next, or retire from fighting.

“I think they [the UFC] have to [sign me]. If they don’t do it, then I’m going to retire, and I can just chill,” he said. However, Danis’ reputation has taken a hit after his atrocious performance in his grudge match against Logan Paul last month, which he lost via disqualification. However, he does have good name recognition, and a dedicated social media following, which might compel the UFC to sign him.
