Can Bradley Martyn translate his words into action if he were to face an MMA fighter? The amusing question has been asked ever since he belittled Demetrious Johnson. The ‘Mighty Mouse’ had his own response, but the question remained unanswered. However, it appears a UFC welterweight star has dropped some hints at the fans to ease their curiosity.

“150lbs is like a towel to me,” Martyn announced as he took pride in his physical strength. But a larger 170lbs and multi-time grappling champion in Gilbert Burns poses a distinct threat altogether. The Brazilian fighter is well aware of this, despite Martyn’s beefed-up muscles and daunting physique. The debate of muscles vs. martial arts seems settled if the UFC star is to be believed.

Notably, the 37-year-old fighter recently made a trip to Singapore as the UFC caravan moved to the Southeast Asian country for UFC Fight Night 225. During a fighter Q&A session, the welterweight fighter was asked whether he could beat the American YouTuber in a street fight.

The confident fighter responded in a positive tone and also revealed he saw it as an easy-money fight. He said, “100%. Easy Money. Easy Money.”

Burns is recently coming off a loss to Belal Muhammad at UFC 288. However, his confidence still remains unscathed, as evidenced by these comments. Further, these remarks might add another dimension to Martyn’s recent claims of crushing Demetrious Johnson.

In a conversation with Brendan Schaub, Martyn declared to “crush” the former UFC champion’s head on the floor. This statement rubbed off on the MMA community, and even Johnson jumped in and accepted Martyn’s challenge. “Just because you are big doesn’t mean you could beat somebody who is smaller,” he insisted.

Schaub had warned Martyn of the repercussions: Johnson “would fu*k you up” in a street fight. Likewise, Joe Rogan predicts a similar outcome. The fans might soon see the culmination of their back-and-forth in a street fight as Schaub tries to set up the fight between the two. Johnson would be eager to settle the size debate, and Burns’ recent comments might put a dent in the American bodybuilder’s pride.
