Jamahal Hill had only a month to prepare for the UFC 283 bout but he shocked the world with his amazing prowess inside the octagon. On the other hand, his manager, Brian Butler-Au, posted a picture on Instagram as he narrated an old story involving ‘Sweet Dreams.’
Jamahal Hill wasn’t comfortable flying first class
When ‘Sweet Dreams’ went to Brazil for UFC 283, he traveled in the economy, according to Brian Butler-Au. But after winning the championship belt, he came back to the United States in first class. However, the champ wasn’t happy sitting in the first-class seat. “This was Jamahal Hill’s first time ever traveling out of the country… flew to Brazil In economy, and now flying home first class (for the first time ever),” wrote Butler-Au in his Instagram post.

Butler-Au also added that Hill was worried about his teammates and said, “(Hill was) constantly worried about his team in the back part of the plane saying he doesn’t feel comfortable sitting up here without them.” ‘Sweet Dreams’ was offered to eat a hot meal, but he also wanted to make sure that his teammates were getting the same service. Butler-Au said, “He snuck his desert into a napkin and brought it back to his coaches… constantly walking back to check on them.
Brian Butler-Au also mentioned that fans only see one side of Jamahal Hill. But they avoid seeing the better qualities in the Grand Rapids native. Butler-Au claims to be very proud of ‘Sweet Dreams’ and what he has achieved in his life.
