The world of mixed martial arts might be linked with violence and heated rivalries. But there are times when the relationship between the fighters and their fans melts the hearts of the netizens. Unquestionably, the fans are the ones who push the fighters to go forward.

Recently, Israel Adesanya experienced an emotional moment and shared it on the internet. A young fan sent him a letter along with a precious gift. The letter was sent by a young, autistic fan, who went by the name of Kiran. The letter seemed to be written prior to Adesanya’s fight against his rival, Alex Pereira, at UFC 287. Nevertheless, the words apparently touched the Nigerian warrior’s heart. He further took a few steps and met young Kiran and shared the pictures on his IG stories.

Adesanya read, “‘To Israel. Momma told me you’re going to fight Alex again. I wanted to send you some special gems. They help with strength. The ‘Tiger’s Eye’ helps with courage and  confidence, and in accomplishing goals. Roman soldiers wore it to protect themselves in battle. And you are a warrior like them. I really hope that you beat him. But even if you don’t, I still think that you are the best fighter there and you would still be my hero. Momma showed me a video of you in the water with stingray and black tip reef sharks and that makes you even cooler. I wanna be a marine biologist. So, I really thought that was cool. Love, from Kiran.’”
