Conor McGregor has highlighted an inspirational story on his social media account. The Irish MMA icon is known by the fans for his remarkable journey to superstardom, which saw him rise from a plumbing apprenticeship in his home country to becoming one of the biggest stars in the UFC’s history!

As such, ‘The Notorious’ recently took to Instagram and shared a heartwarming and inspirational message with his followers. McGregor shared a video posted by Ian O’Connell on his story, highlighting his support and drawing inspiration from the young man and his incredible journey which has seen him overcome a tragic accident to pursue his dreams!

Ian O’Connell, who suffered life-altering injuries in a cycling accident, recently received a shout-out from Conor McGregor on Instagram. He posted a video shared by the young man with the caption, “My brother, Ian O Connell! An Inspiration”

The post came in response to O’Connell sharing a video of himself working out with a voice-over by ‘The Notorious’  giving a motivational speech!

In the video, O’Connell can be seen working out in his wheelchair while McGregor’s voice can be heard stating, “You can always do something, if your ankle is sore, well, is your arm sore, so what’s the problem? Do some, do what you can. People use things as an excuse, you what I mean, okay something’s off so I can just chill and everything now.”

McGregor’s words echo Ian’s message of resilience and determination throughout his life and the video concludes with a powerful message: “There’s always something you can do. All the time, so it’s just about finding it, being honest with yourself and f**king do it.”
