The JRE episode no. 2063 featured Hollywood star and former professional wrestler, Dwayne Johnson as the guest. Fans were treated to stories about The Rock’s journey from the WWE to his current superstardom. However, the two men also engaged in a discussion about Elon Musk and his incredible approach to innovation.
In the conversation about Elon Musk, Rogan praised Musk for his unconventional approach, citing his creation of a cyber-vehicle and stating, “It’s just cool, he just decided to make, you the coolest f**king cyber-vehicle that he can. He is the best kind of billionaire to me, coz he does wild sh*t.”
The podcast host then went on to explain how the tech mogul decided to make the rockets for his Space X program ‘pointed’ in a reference to the classic film, Spaceballs. He revealed, “He made the tip of the Space X rocket pointy because he wanted it to look more like the one on SpaceBalls. Literally, that’s literally what he did. He’s just a wild fella.”
Rogan views Elon Musk as the “best kind of billionaire” for his bold ventures. Dwayne Johnson also expressed enthusiasm, saying, “So, idea, make it happen.“
Rogan also acknowledged Musk’s challenges in translating concepts into actual products, emphasizing, “It’s hard, he detailed the process of going from an initial concept to making a demonstration vehicle and then production, how difficult it is.”
The episode offered a fascinating glimpse into the minds of influential figures and their perspectives on the extraordinary ventures of visionaries like Elon Musk. However, Rogan also decided to test Musk’s claims about the Tesla Cybertruck in trademark Rogan fashion!
Musk and claims about Cybertruck put to the test
The Tesla Cybertruck was first unveiled to the public in November 2019. However, the first look might not have gone as planned! While demonstrating the sturdiness of its ‘armored’ windows, the truck was unable to withstand the steel ball thrown at its window.
However, Joe Rogan recently took the challenge up himself to prove that Elon Musk’s claims about the vehicle being immune to “subsonic” projectiles were indeed true. In a video released on Twitter/X, Rogan, an avid archery enthusiast, fires an arrow at the truck!

The video shows the truck destroying the arrow without sustaining any damage to its body other than a slight dent. Elon Musk was also present for this test as he can be spotted in the video smoking a cigar and observing Rogan do his best to fire an arrow through the truck door!
Rogan’s statements and his video testing the Cybertruck highlight the unique relationship between him and the billionaire. And fans will be interested to see if future episodes of the podcast with Musk lead to more viral moments for the internet to enjoy!
