Elon Musk Replies to Joe Rogan as He Gets Special Spot on the Spotify Podcast: “The Many Ice Ages and…”

Joe Rogan is the best when it comes to podcasts. He has a knack for making the conversations interesting for the guests as well as the audience. And if you are in the same line of work and get talked about in ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ is one big milestone. John Shahidi from ‘Full Send Podcast’ experienced that very recently. The UFC commentator played a clip from their podcast with Elon Musk, where he talks deeply about the ice age. Rogan and his guests talked about what a great job they did with the Elon Musk podcast and complimented the Tesla CEO for his exceptional depth of knowledge.

The ‘Full Send Podcast’s host then tweeted out that particular clip as an appreciation from their end, to which Musk responded to it, while sticking to the ice-age discussion.

Elon Musk acknowledges the compliment without losing the topic

In the clip from ‘Full Send Podcast‘, the billionaire talked about the ice age and stressed the fact that it’s more complex than we can even fathom. Musk said, “There’s deep rabbit hole on ice ages. Deep rabbit hole.” He further added, “We’re technically in sort of an ice age right now,”. This is something Joe Rogan‘s guest thought to have gotten more spotlight and hailed the podcast hosts for doing such a great job. Responding to that, one of the podcast hosts took to Twitter and showed his appreciation for being put up on the JRE.

He wrote, “Joe Rogan watching us is so crazy to me @fullsendpodcast @elonmusk.”

It received a reply from Elon Musk who still talked about Ice Age. Musk wrote, “The many ice ages & continental drift give you a feeling for deep time”

Having said that, as interesting as the podcasts with Elon Musk is, it is equally difficult to interview him. Joe Rogan himself revealed the trick to lose him up for the podcast.

The difficulty of interviewing Musk

In episode #1214 of the JRE, Joe Rogan was joined by Sam Harris and the two discussed the difficulty of conducting a perfect podcast. The UFC commentator shared his view that there are some guests who are natural with it, wherein some have a hard time gelling in. And Elon Musk falls in the latter category. The 55-year-old revealed the bizarre route he had to take to get Elon Musk eased into the podcast.

“Elon took a while. Like we had to start drinking.”, said Rogan. He further added, “We were drunk by the time weed came out… What’s interesting to me is, we were drinking from the beginning of the podcast. We started drinking whiskey. We both had two or three glasses of whiskey.” 

Adding to that, Sam Harris added what that podcast appeared to him. He said, “That podcast showcased, at least for the first, I don’t know, 90 minutes was just how many user interface problems you could have with Elon.”

Harris added that Elon Musk isn’t that difficult all the time, but that particular day was a tough one for him. Furthermore, he went on to compliment Joe Rogan for doing an excellent job with Musk. “You were working just… absolutely heroic work trying to keep that conversation happening, you know, in the beginning.”, said Sam Harris.
