According to various reports, Conor McGregor‘s net worth as of 2024 is an estimated $200 million, making him one of the richest athletes. The UFC star has amassed a massive fortune from his fighting career and his business ventures. Thanks to selling his widely successful whiskey business to Proximo Spirits for reportedly $600 million, the UFC star banked nearly $150 million for himself, per Forbes. But his career earnings are far higher than that number. With his multiple business ventures, we might see those numbers grow soon and compete with Michael Jordan’s massive $3.3 billion net worth.

Something seems to be cooking for the summers that would propel his business empire to be much more profitable. Recently, Conor McGregor hinted at an addition to his ‘Proper 12 Whiskey’ and ‘Forged Strout’. In a Q&A session on his Instagram, one fan asked McGregor, “Any new beverages on the horizon?”

Yes! A new beverage seems to be coming from The Mystic Mac’s brewery. McGregor replied, “Yes I have a Bombshell of an announcement imminent. For Summers! fans of this particular beverage would be very happy. The competition! Not so much. Forged Army”

Since its launch in September 2018, Proper 12, an Irish whiskey named after the Crumlin neighborhood in Dublin 12 where McGregor grew up, has remained closely associated with McGregor. Incredibly, Proper 12 made revenues of around $1bn (£747m) in its first year. The 35-year-old promoted the brand whenever possible. Whether it be on his Instagram account where he boasts a 47.2M following, or while promoting his UFC bouts. McGregor has been spotted drinking his whiskey with UFC boss Dana White during press conferences and has also shared a drink with Justin Bieber and Jose Mourinho.

In an interview with Forbes a few years ago, McGregor revealed his decision not to follow the path of endorsement deals with big-name brands and to wanted to make his own whiskey. He said, “I could have taken the easy money… I could have taken the quick buck. [But] I took the risk. I put my heart and soul into it, and it’s paid off.”

‘Notorious’s fighting is only his ‘third level of income’

Conor McGregor became the face of UFC when he became the first dual-weight champion of the world. This fame has garnered him a lot of deals and monetary compensation. His fight with Floyd Mayweather reportedly earned him $100 million. McGregor earned varying amounts of money per fight. He doesn’t have a set fee that he receives. Unfortunately, he was forced to fight less often than he might want over the last few years. After his first career knockout in 2021, UFC put him on a six-month medical suspension so he could recover. Later, he returned and took home a comparably small $5 million from his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.

In 2019, Notorious revealed that fighting was only his “third level of income.” His most successful businesses have been in alcohol, food, and entertainment. McGregor’s business portfolio doesn’t end with Proper 12. The Mystic Mac has a fashion label, August McGregor, launched with designer David August in 2016. The Sun reported that the fashion line makes £50m (£37.3m) in profits per year.  He also boasts his own media company – TheMacLife – which covers MMA, lifestyle, and fitness, and regularly attracts six-figure viewing numbers for videos posted online.

The Dubliner purchased the “Waterside” pub in 2022.  McGregor’s endorsement deals also help keep his coffers full. He has had endorsements with Burger King, Reebok, Bud Light, Monster Energy, and other brands. He has earned about $8 million from his endorsement deals.
